Printer-friendly version (Doc)

Purpose

The NCSAF Program Committee provides a series of presentations throughout the year on topics of interest to NCSAF members. Typically, these presentations will consist of luncheon speakers and policy forums, although other forms may be utilized.

Organization

“SPECIAL COMMITTEES, authorized by the Executive Committee, shall be appointed by the Chair. Such committees may include: Communications; Education; Fund Raising; Issues; Membership; Newsletter; Policy; Professional Recognition; Program; and Wild Acres, etc.” [NCSAF Bylaws, Article 9, Special Committees]

Responsibilities

The Program Committee prepares and presents a tentative program for the year for approval by the Executive Committee at the first Executive Committee meeting of the year.

Using the approved tentative program as a guide, the Program Committee then finalizes the program by contacting potential presenters, scheduling dates and venues.

The Program Committee will update the Communications Committee on new program or changes 30 days prior to the next program for timely notice to the NCSAF membership.

Adopted by the NCSAF Executive Committee on April 15, 2004.
