Our forests are shaped by our climate and our climate is shaped by our forests. The Society of American Foresters invites you to hear from these two renowned researchers on the impacts of climate change to U.S. forests and to discuss the recent Special SAF Task Force Report that highlights the contributions that forests and their management can make in helping to mitigate climate change.

The objectives of the Forum are to highlight the SAF Task Force report, and to present the Society of American Foresters as a source of thoughtful, science-based information on the role of forests and forestry for policy discussions on climate change. All who have an interest in the nation’s forests and how they can be part of the solution to addressing atmospheric pollution and global climate change will find this forum useful.
