Perspectives about Wilderness Areas on Public Lands
Anne Merwin, The Wilderness Society
Jenn Dice, International Mountain Bicycling Association
David Zayas, American Hiking Society
Dustin Van Liew, Public Lands Council

Wilderness issues on public lands management are challenging and complex. Increasing populations, changing climates and competing land uses are only a few of the drivers that help shape different opinions about the amount and use of wilderness areas on public lands. Join NCSAF to hear some of these perspectives and participate in the discussions around this important topic.

Anne Merwin is a public lands policy advisor for the Wilderness Society focusing on recreation and transportation planning issues.

Jenn Dice is in charge of government affairs for the International Mountain Bicycling Association.

David Zayas is the director of government relations and oversees American Hiking's federal and state agency partnerships, and its policy and advocacy programs.
