Wine night and Auction for the National Capitol SAF

It is that time of year again…  time to have a fabulous time with your NCSAF colleagues, drink some great wines, and also raise some money for the premier DC-area professional society.  On Thursday, October 20th, NCSAF will be having its annual fund-raising auction and wine drinking extravaganza.

Bring a bottle of wine and/or appetizer to share and your checkbook from 6:00 pm on the 20th, and enjoy a great evening of NCSAF comraderie and intense bidding.  The auction will again be hosted by NCSAF's very own Doug Crandall, and here are just some of the things that will be available in the auction:

  • Lunch for 4 people with USFS Chief Tom Tidwell
  • Lunch for 2 people with outgoing NFS Deputy Chief Joel Holtrip
  • 2 tickets, premier seating, at the Ford's Theatre
  • A Pleasure Cruise for 2 up the Potomac River seeing the monuments with a lunch BBQ
  • Fly fishing lessons for two people with USFS Climate Change Advisor Dave Cleaves
  • A Wine dinner with former USDA Under Secretary Mark Rey
  • Happy hour with USFS Deputy Chief Jim Hubbard and Mark Rey
  • A "Surprise Package" from USFS Legislative Affairs Director Doug Crandall
  • French wine dinner for four with the Mason's
  • Fielder and Burkett, 6-course wine dinner for 4
  • and much more!

All proceeds go to supporting NCSAF's programs, covention scholarships and service activities, so mark your calendars for October 20th, tell your friends and colleagues, and come out to support NCSAF.

The auction will be held in the common room of : Jenkins Row condominiums 1391 Pennsylvania Ave SE Washington DC which is located right across from the Potomac Ave metro station for an easy, non-driving commute home after enjoying the wine night ;-)
